Ghosting

For the longest time she thought of practising non-attachment because when people disappeared, it left a void in her heart. And she would sulk not for days but for years to come. So now what she does is, she keeps mum, holds back her feelings and words even if it creates a lump in her throat. And it has worked in her favour, now like the colours of the fall, people fade away with time. Leaving no room for attachment because nobody appreciates a dead woman with a cell phone.
